FACE is a national campaign that strives to enact two core beliefs: one, our system of higher education benefits from having a full-time instructional workforce with job protections and, two, all faculty members, whether working full- or part-time, should be compensated fairly. As a starting point for this campaign, AFT has drafted model legislation, including a "full FACE initiative" and also several alternative incremental approaches. These documents are intended to set forth the principles of FACE. However, we recognize that the FACE campaign may differ from state to state and situation to situation.
